Pretty much, although it's clear that she has some genuine psychological issues and that all the otaku-oriented media she consumes is making them worse. It's very believable in a way that evokes a mix of :smith:

They're not.
"Cromartie High School" is about a school full of the weirdest delinquents ever.
"Detroit Metal City" is about tower-humper there being a huge pussy, terrified of his own fans, and wanting to play swedish pop instead.
"Mad Bull 34" is about Sargent 'Sleepy' being a terrible police officer by killing every suspect and banging every hooker he should be bringing in, but not raping anyone.

I guess Akoogly Eyes just likes rape.

I did always think it was weird how much of Krauzer's cred in DMC is centered around rape. I guess the metal crowd is more anti-society in Japan, and less about Vikings and dragons or whatever. DMC is a very funny series, though. Not creepy.

Hako is one of the new characters. He's a crossdresser who borrows Madarame's apartment sometimes. Antics ensue!

I really liked the first few volumes of Genshiken, but I thought it dipped a little in quality towards the end. I wasn't a big fan of the Ogiue/Ohno-centric plots. I really like where the new stuff is going, though.

I want to say that I read this based on this image and I have no regrets whatsoever. This has all the tough guy machismo, comedic lightheartedness, team spirit, and sense of victory against incredible odds, that I just love in my shonen manga.
