In Gran Turismo 3, you could tune a car so its airfoil propelled it into what would be a backflip...except the game's engine didn't let cars do that. The result was that your car would be in a permanent wheelie, and due to the game's calculation of speed, this let you accelerate up to 1000kmph: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLnsxk5juMI This is also how I won one of the 12hr endurance events.
