Well, considering the DVD version is just a straight transfer of the LD release but with the aforementioned loss in audio quality from dolby 2.0 compression, the laserdisc version really is still the best. There's just something about the design of really ancient portable computers that I like. The rugged, industrial pragmatic design coupled with the old monogreen monitor makes me think of NASA rocket scientists smoking cigarettes in shirtsleeves.
