Yay, this topic is back up. I wonder what kind of occult resurrection ceremony was needed to revive it. As someone who long since finished the series I do enjoy the commentary on it here.

I don't know if this has been linked much in the topic yet, but I have always thought Umineko's translated introduction gives the reader a very good idea of what the author is expecting of them as they're reading. Also, it's pretty neat, so I want to link it anyway. http://witch-hunt.com/hist.html In other words, even if it's not yet solvable, everything about the mystery is supposed to antagonize you and make you want to solve it. So definitely do reason things through and try to solve what you can.
