The '84 Tigers and '09 Cardinals are both four-point teams, and I'd rather not give you 13 points, as that would be most inequitable.

Sorry about that but I lost my place in the list. Anyways, guess I will be forced to throw Pujols and the 2009 Cardinals back and take the 1978 Pirates instead.

That's fine, I need to postpone the negotiations anyways, I just lost my 2B for the season. I'll get back to you after I figure out what I'm going to do.

OTHER EXPANSION CUP OWNERS! I am bent over a barrel here, and I have an injured 1985 Paul Molitor, in the prime of his career. Molitor posted a 122 career OPS+ and drew almost as many walks as he had strikeouts, and can play both 2B/3B. Unfortunately, he's out for the season for me. For you guys, on the other hand, he'd be fresh and new. I'm only looking for a 2B at the moment, and I have other pieces to offer like 1961 Yankee RF Roger Maris, 1968 Tiger 1B Norm Cash, and 1911 Athletic SP Chief Bender. Make me a fair offer.

I'll be more then happy to give you Lou Whitaker for Paul Molitor. Would solve my problem of playing Scott Brosius at third.

Almost forgot, make Terry Steinbach the personal catcher of George Uhle.

While being in fourth place is not a good place to be, it most likely will get better as the season goes on. With as many players underperforming as bad as they have so far, We should get on a nice roll when they start getting better.

Mrnoun, I have either Lance Parrish or Terry Steinbach available for a pitcher if Cthulhu doesn't accept the deal you offered.

The Bulldogs accept the trade of
Luna Landers offer:
1984 Cal Ripken
1946 Bob Feller
1946 Sherm Lollar

Portland Bulldogs offer:
1984 Alan Trammell
1984 Lance Parrish
1941 Paul Derringer
Should we both survive, you send me 1996 Scott Brosius between seasons as a player to be named later, because Feller's better than Parrish.

EDIT: All right, Smasher has convinced me that trading Bob Feller is... let me make sure I'm getting this quote right... "loving stupid, what the hell is wrong with you, I should relegate your team just for making that offer."

I'd still like to make a swap for Trammell, who was always one of my favorite players.

Figured as soon as I saw Smasher's post the deal was going to be cancelled. You can make a bid for Trammell if you want but I will admit that I doubt I will be willing to part with him too easily.

This is not exactly the way I figured the team would go after Smasher said he liked the team but oh well. Guess for now we'll move Mark McGwire to first base and have Dave Parker be the Designated Hitter.

Daydreamers, I have Eddie Joost that thanks to having Alan Trammell is wasting away on my bench. He'd be much better for you then Roger Peckinpaugh both offensively and defensively. What I would want in return is your first-round dispersal pick.

The good news is that we finally had a month over .500. The bad news is that apparently the deal I was thinking of for Frank Robinson won't happen as the Superstars somehow got him for next to nothing. Move John Candelaria into the spot vacated by Paul Derringer's injury.
