You can generally reschedule a Biometrics Apointment easily if its set for a bad time, and I believe its possible for interviews as well, but less common. So if they are placed on a really bad day you can try to have them moved. So you would think, but when my wife got her green card we had to go to a field office three hours away instead of one only an hour and a half away (we were just far enough west that we got dumped into San Antonio instead of Houston)
