My dad brought a load of boxes of some of my old stuff thats been up in the attic at his house, like my Subbuteo set in the 1994 United away kit, or the Esso World Cup 90 coin collection. Among them were these which I thought was pretty cool

My grandad is on the Welsh FA and these are some of the mini flags from pre/post match exchanges. Ive been trying to work out the bottom right, any clue?

Not heard this story before so I looked up a video - read it in Cantonas book.

1994 FA Cup Final.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oeQYUjBRwM&t=68s

In the 60th minute Eddie Newton commited a dreadful foul on Dennis Irwin right in front of referee Mike Riley, who immediately pointed to the penalty spot. The Chelsea players had no right to feel aggrieved by the decision, but, as Cantona picked up the ball to place it there, one of them, Dennis Wise (who else?), walked up and started remonstrating with the Frenchman - or so the television viewers and commentators thought. Wise intended to disrupt Eric's concentration, there could be no doubt about that, but the method he had chosen to do that was highly original. He asked Cantona: 'Fancy a bet?' to which Eric replied, 'Yes - £100,' before waving him off with a dismissive gesture of the hand.

Wise settled his wager at the exit of the dressing room.

I've been quite a lot for work and it's definitely better now than when it first opened, but i'd maybe wait until they have a specific exhibition on that interests you before you go again; pretty sure they are doing football and World War I this year with it being the 100th anniversary etc.

Last year they did fashion and football that was to be honest more interesting than I expected.

I thought the MEN said today they were doing something to do with FC United so was thinking about going

What do you mean?

Forlan is a striker. Ferguson played him as a striker. He just missed like a million easy chances in his early United games and his confidence went and never came back. It's a shame how bad he was because he was really popular with the fans and everyone at the club seemed to love him.

Cause he worked really hard whenever he played, and he scored a double against the scousers to help us to the title

His workrate was always great, he was the anti-jozy
