I'm so glad this thread exists. I still listen to The Deep Dark Woods and JTE a lot when I'm in my car and I'm loving the music posted here. I also quite enjoyed the album Tones by Small Sur. I bought it on Amazon on a whim because it was 5 dollars. It's pretty downtempo and I don't even know if it could be classified as country, perhaps melodic folk (same vein as City and Colour)? Only perhaps with an emphasis on nature and tranquility over heartbreak. Edit: drat, I love this. Thanks!
