Yeah Wovenhand's definitely not so traditional sounding at all compared to 16HP, but is stellar in its own way. See them live if you get a chance.

i like lucero but they are a band i havent listened to in a long rear end time. i saw they are playing here soon - maybe i should revisit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wp4_rViKi8w this is a good rear end version of a song whose original i cant stand because the chorus sounds very kid rock-ish

thats awesome. i think i would travel almost anywhere to see Son Volt play with the original lineup again (or at least w/ Jim and Dave Boquist) but I bet that will never happen.
