I've never really been much into this type of music but I saw a local guy named Tyler Childers play at a bar in Lexington this weekend. His voice just blew me away...so smokey and soulful. To make it even more impressive he's only 22 and couldn't play many bars until he turned 21 last year.

He plays a lot of shows in Huntington, WV and Lexington, KY. If you can see him live, definitely go. He's awesome to watch.
