I only ready the New York chapter, in case I end up playing it before I run it. A lot of things are fleshed out, there are a lot more details and strings to pull on in New York and there's a new prologue chapter in Peru that introduces the group to jackson elias. I imagine a bunch of stuff from that masks companion book is integrated but I haven't investigated too closely.

I just straight up told my players they aren't gonna have time to read through the giant 5-volume 15th century text in the course of the campaign. I hand-waved all of the other study times, ain't got time for that sort of bookkeeping personally, but with the Pnakotic manuscript I just said it was "too big to meaningfully do a full read-through in the allotted time".
