What I liked about that arc is that they got there and it all seemed normal even though everyone talked in this weird, vague fashion, and at first I thought nothing of it since plenty of aliens in the comic talk weirdly. I don't think it ever explicitly tells you why they talk like that, but later on I suddenly realized that, oh they say stuff like "he went home I believe if I'm not mistaken" so they technically aren't lying even if they're wrong. I thought that was pretty clever.
