Since it's not an update to the old version, but rather a "new" program altogether from Apple's point of view, you could just have both for a while. As for myself, did I read before that the icon updates would be in a future version as well? I know I saw a highres icon for the Webcomics tag, but when I look at a topic with that icon, it's just blank for me.
