As far as education, every generation ever has been the most educated generation in American history, more or less. The job/asset accumulation might be tricky, but the adults graduating into Vietnam helped put Reagan in power later, and the adults graduating during Reagan years are more or less calling the shots now. In other words, prepare to be disappointed.
