Just a heads up, I wouldn't recommend doing all the costume codes at once. I did it for the maya and salvadore skins and only maya's showed up in my inventory at first. after using it, i went back to the shift section, clicked on the salvadore skin entry a couple times and went back into the game, then it showed in the inventory.

Get a skin, use it, then get another. Probably save some headaches.

Been playing this with my lvl 50 commando, at TVHM plenty of enemies can pratically one shot you even with over 100k combined health and shields. If any goons want to do a 4-man run through of this on the 360, I'm on the metatag.

Myself, Shadowedflames, and two pubbies just finished the DLC, pretty enjoyable. We then had a go at pyrocaustic pete the invincible. Impressions so far...

1. He is beatable, tho we never actually did it at our best run we got him down to maybe 40-50% health.

2. His Wide Aoe attacks are caustic and pyro, and stick around for a longs time. My commando had his skill that reduces time you're affected by a status by 40%, it still killed me every time.

3. There are two switches that will activate water that will clear the effects, but one also releases spiderants, the other releases rats. It seemed the levers stayed the same all the times we tried so stick with the switch that releases spiderants, they're easier to deal with than rats.

Figuring out the right builds and tactics will probably take a while, but this guy definitely isn't the 'gently caress you' bosses of the Scarlett DLC.

Gamespy has a preview of the Hammerlock DLC. It's features include a new vehicle and that the challenge in this dlc is very high. Not just from tough enemies but he talks about a Witch Doctor enemy that heals and even boosts other enemies.

He also mentions plans for level cap boosts and even a third playthrough. Looking forward to seeing what that means.

At the SXSW gearbox showed a teaser of the new vault hunter. HERE is a link to the story on joystiq which includes the teaser they showed. And HERE is a youtube video of the teaser.

From what is seen, it's apparently a cyborg with a focus on Melee. Looking forward to more info and the inevitable twitter hijacking.

Played through the new Hammerlock DLC, I quite liked it. All the vault hunters have their own unique dialogue, there's plenty of funny banter between Lilith, Brick and Mordecai (and Talon!) a lot of callbacks to the original Borderlands and Crawmerax in general. As usual with the Headhunter packs, there's a main quest and a secondary quest, and I loved the secondary quest. I'll probably play through it with all my characters just to hear all the dialogue in it.

I haven't tried the raid boss yet, I need to get with well equipped friends, (unfortunately I seem to be the only one who gets the HH packs.
