You can always do what I did: start up TVHM and then warp to Oasis at the first fast-travel point. The Scarlett DLC scales to your level, but it won't scale past level 30 in playthrough 1 and since you're probably at level 33 or so that poo poo is boring. I had a fun time doing Scarlett at level 35-38 in TVHM and now I've got a whole bunch of guns for the main story playthrough.
