As someone who has kinda fallen into following-ish fringe history stuff, 304 was amazing. It's basically modern Ancient Aliens. That sounds weird, because Ancient Aliens is still putting out new episodes but, like, it's still mostly old-person-crazy (and also plain old-crazy). This thing was like if you took Ancient Aliens and added videogame/internet crazy to it. It's just on another level.

I am irrationally upset at this person saying that they "clicked the A button" and that they "clicked on Pikachu in the menu" and and and...! I have doubts that anyone who actually used a Gameboy or GBC would use that terminology, and my immersion is totally gone. (Also, c'mon. Your Pokémon creepypasta revolves around Lavender and Pokémon Tower? Puh-lease.)

I think the #200 retrospective might actually be a decent place to start. Gives a sense of the ethos of the podcast while hitting some really good high points. Alternatively, I believe the audiophile episode may be my favourite.
