-Update on this car: Reducing the price to $8000. Willing to talk deals with anyone who has an interest.
It's an anomaly of an MG, as all the electrics are in top shape, car starts consistently, and it won't be a bitch to maintain.

Double Update: here's video of it starting and revving up a bit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r00QwnS8opA

Here's the updated description:

For sale is a 1969 MG Midget.

This car has undergone a recently completed three year comprehensive restoration.
The body shell was media blasted, any damaged panels were replaced, and treated with POR-15.

Exterior paint is fresh, color from GM (Cyber Grey Metallic).

There are a few minor paint blemishes that will be fixed prior to sale.

The exterior trim is all replaced or refurbished. New door and trunk locks. Windshield from other MG, in good condition. All rubber seals new all around. Rear end differential replaced for steel wheels, new VTO rims installed. New wood trim steering wheel. New all season radial tires installed.

Suspension and brakes completely rebuilt. All hard brake lines and fuel lines replaced with new lines from a company in England. Engine was rebuilt from an MG mechanic out of Carlsbad, CA. Transmission was converted to a 5-speed through the Rivergate Conversion Kit. All electrical systems replaced, generator replaced with a 1 wire alternator, new mini fuse block added. Car starts immediately and runs smoothly.

Interior is all new including carpets from Moss, the seats were replaced with reupholstered Miata seats, and flat panels were re upholstered locally, correct for the Midget. The dash was modified for old style paint finish.

Complete with new convertible top and tonneau cover. Tonneau cover needs a bit of work.

This car has received a loving, top quality restoration with HIGH attention to detail. Anything that was not in good shape was scrapped and replaced. Car can be a cool custom for shows, or a daily driver for either you or a family member. Only about 1200-1500 miles have been put on the car since the restoration was done to check for any mechanical blips.

Title in hand, registered and inspected. Comes with car cover, manual and other miscellaneous MG things.

Bonded title and passed inspection.

Asking $8,000 but will talk deals with goons.

Hey, everybody:

I'm selling our 1996 Toyota Landcruiser Prado TZ. I know I COULD post it on SA Mart, but I'd rather float it out to car perverts and JDM FREAKS instead.

Posting this on Facebook Marketplace and other local listings for 21k USD, but open to goon pricez. It's been a fantastic truck, and we are sadly selling just to move ourselves into a healthier financial place: no crisis, just want to be in a better place with money.

I modified (with permission) the fantastic sale post for a J90 Prado Kaker did a while back to give more info. Enjoy!

The Land Cruiser Prado started as a more street-oriented, comfortable adaptation of the standard 70 series Land Cruiser. If you are looking at this Prado and think it looks familiar, that might be because this is the beginning of the Lexus GX, itself a minor divergence from what the rest of the world gets as the Prado.

Forest Green paint with a silver lower panels set up a very 90s look right off the bat. This truck has a tall, athletic stance with excellent ground clearance. JDM rain guards over every window, front-mounted fog lights (with TOYOTA proudly emblazoned across each light) attached to an inboard bullbar with the corner-mounted mirror bleed even more distinctive vibes. Radical Toyota-original 6 spoke wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich KO2s white letters out complete the look. Top it off with great side rails able to handle rooftop tents, ski racks, luggage carriers, and/or more, and you have yourself a fantastically capable, excellent daily driver that can handle what you want to tackle.

You're getting the top end trim this car was fit with, with two tone grey, blues, and reds dotting the door panels and seats. As such, the seats themselves are comfortable fabric affairs, with great bolstering. Warm in the winter, cool in the summer. Standard instrument cluster up front, amazing visibility all around and a functioning sunroof above your head. Above the center stack is the ‘Field Monitor’, a sort of digital information pod that includes an inclinometer, pitch/roll indicator and a digital compass. In addition it can display temperature, elevation, barometric pressure, digital speedometer (in kilometers of course) and a timer. Below this is arguably the star of the show, a 4 speed automatic transmission along with a low-range selector and locking center differential. The glorious JDM headunit was replaced with a great modern USDM headunit that allows you any CarPlay of your choice. Automatic climate control and a little drawer, along with an analog clock are here as well. You also get dual front airbags and ABS which is a far cry from the “not at all” available in the last generation. Center console can swallow all sorts of things under its lid, including four drinks in its various cupholders. Backseats are clean and comfortable, with rear climate control (IN 1996!) with a smaller set of third row seats (fold out "Trooper" seats) in the very back. The cargo area is large on its own but can be made significantly larger if you fold the rear seats forward.

The KZJ90 series of Land Cruiser Prados are excellent, incredibly engineered vehicles. Fast enough to comfortably sit on the highway at 70 miles per hour all day, absolutely capable to trudge through whatever offroad hell you send its way, and overbuilt to last decades into hard use. This one is a clean, fantastic to ride in, and will leave you constantly wondering "why didn't Toyota sell this HERE?!". Everything works, it needs nothing and is ready to go.
