I was going to put this on Craigslist, but I'll try here first

I'm looking to sell a 200-4R Remanufactured Transmission w/ stock torque converter.

This transmission was used in quite a few GM cars from 1980 until 1990. The following Wikipedia link has more information if you're interested:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turbo-Hydramatic#THM200-4R

If you're looking to take an older GM vehicle and upgrade the transmission to an overdrive unit, the 200-4R is an excellent choice. The cool thing about the 200-4R is that its bell housing can match up to all Chevy SBCs, as well as many Buick, Pontiac, and Oldsmobile engines. In addition, the 200-4R is the same length as the TH350, so you can use the same drive shaft and mounting locations.

The following articles give a bit more information on the swap:

http://www.chevyhiperformance.com/techarticles/49798_th200_4r_transmission_swap/

Originally I was going to use this transmission in a project vehicle, but the girlfriend got pregnant and I had to sell the vehicle. I purchased the transmission off a good friend of my family, who was going to install it in a 67 Chevelle until he got a wild hair and decided to go with a Muncie 5 speed instead. This unit was never installed and has sat in a temperature controlled shop for a while.

The identification number of this transmission is 174-901CTF0425, which gives the following information about this unit:

174 Built on June 24
90 Built in 1990
1 Built during the 1st Shift at the transmission planet (before the UAW guys got drunk/stoned on their shift)
CT Originally installed in a Chevy Caprice
F Identifies this transmission as a 200-4R
0425 Serial Number

The internal components of this transmission have been completely overhauled, with:
Drain plug in oil pan
New oil pump
New servo
New bands
New clutches
New valve body
TCI Automotive 376600 Universal TCC Lock-Up Kit

Also included:
Reconditioned stock style lock up torque converter
Dipstick tube
ATSG 200-4R technical manual
TCI Automotive 376600 Universal TCC Lock-Up Kit instructions (installed in the transmission)
Kick down detent cable GM P/N 54450U
Wiring connector

As you can see it needs paint, but other wise it's ready for installation.
