It seems to be the same as Hard in terms of damage but it slashes experience and yen gains to under half, as well as disabling dungeon retry. I made it to the mid-boss of the first dungeon before I realized I am no longer the sucker for punishment I once was. Yeah, it's a fuckin bitch. I lost to Youske's shadow once, and both attempts took all 3 medicines to scrape by. Similarly I lost once to Chie though it went a little smoother. Youske still died twice and it was by the skin of my teeth. Too late to turn back now though.
