I think the first few games (before getting used to the buzzer rhythm) are the most likely for a player like him to lose so I'm interested to see how long his streak will be.

I haven't missed an episode of Jeopardy in years. It's what I watch with dinner every night. I will absolutely not watch any episode hosted by Dr Oz. It's a stunt pulled by people who do not understand the show and it's absolutely despicable.

He has the perfect voice for an ad on the radio but my brain starts to slide away the longer I hear him talk. He's fine but I gotta really focus to by the end of Double Jeopardy to follow what he's saying. He's still better than no Jeopardy.

I thought she was really good on today's show. Reading the clues clearly and confidently along with keeping the game going at a decent pace by not leaving too much pace between responses was great. She maybe got a little too "Kindergarten teacher" when praising the contestants but that was minor for me. Put Mike in the garbage forever.

Levar Burton has been absolutely terrible. Like I can't believe all of the missteps and poor form in his hosting. I like him as a dude but man, he's just awful as a game show host and I'm glad he's done.

I guess I'm just confused why everyone is trying to compare Levar to Ken instead of the other guest hosts. Levar has a long history of hosting shows and knows how to be in front of the camera. So do many of the other guest hosts who have been before Levar. Even the rest of the hosts who only had a week did not have the same stumbles as Levar did. Everyone keeps saying stuff like "He got better as the week went on!" but it was either Thursday or Friday when he mistakenly called a response as incorrect when it was actually correct. His timing was atrocious and there was so much time between buzzing in and being called on. It was tedious to watch him.

Just look at the previous week's host of Robin Roberts and none of the same issues are as present. I do not think she's been a gameshow host in the past and she had the same hosting length. Why aren't we comparing Levar to the GMA folks like her?

I watched that game whenever I could as a kid. The bonus/final round was always a bit ridiculous because the only strategy you really needed was calling out numbers fast.

A lot of people definitely panic in that bonus round though and just randomly call things out without working through it systematically. It's funny and frustrating to see it happy, heh.

If you're a weirdo like me who still likes those old computer editions of game shows, there's some decent versions of the Tomarkin show Wipeout and the 80s version of Now You See It. They're both a couple of my go-to games when I'm bored at 2 AM.

There was a very obvious cut after RIchards introduced the announcer. It must've been where his speech about being so grateful for getting the job was. Starting the show with Trebek's family felt like a really weasely thing to do too.
