Peugeot makes a Diesel-hybrid drivetrain for the 508 RXH. The diesel drives the front wheels, and the electric drives the rear. I don't think it works without the engine running though. They claim 60 mpg, while tests suggest 47 mpg. Still not bad for a big Allroad/XC70 competitor. It would have been insanely expensive in the US though, and they only expect to sell 10 000 worldwide.
