Circle Jerkers, consider yourselves on notice. You are not prepared for the triple threat of accessorized, poo poo-covered house pets.

Wait, how do I not get first pick with my w/l record? I'm like the Washington Redskins of Wild Front Tier. (Except up two draft picks, unfortunately for my home team.)

While we are on break if there are any ideas for rule changes and such we should get them out for discussion now I would think. IR slots (I think a must for the keeper league) bench slots scoring thoughts/adjustments other stuff? Zypher that trophy is pretty much spot on.

If we're gonna have any rule change discussion, June is your time to speak. I'm pretty happy with things as they are in terms of scoring and rosters and what not. Keeper system still TBD since we haven't had a chance to experience that pain yet. Speaking of keepers, how's this for a rough schedule? July: Sign ups and payments Aug 1: Keeper deadline First week of Aug: supplemental draft via email And then we'll schedule both drafts closer to the start of the season.

Does this mean you've pushed butan on the league to reactivate it? Also, someone remind me of the keeper rules for the non-scrub league (or is it just "keep however many you want at -1 round"?)

I would like to propose a larger bench and use of I.R.

I nth an IR spot, but say nay to a bigger bench.

I figured the IR slot (two IMO as injuries are frequent enough to warrant) is especially needed due to the designated for return addition to the IR designation. Randall Cobb I am looking at you.

I always use 2 IR for IDP keepers

# ? Jun 4, 2014 04:54 |

By bigger bench, I only meant one more additional spot. Sure it's challenging and all that having a short bench, but our benches were one smaller than all my other leagues and those didn't even have IDP to contend with. I'm not sure how Zypher is going to handle voting, but I'll go ahead and present the three proposals thus far, and he can decide how to go from there. THE SUAVE PROPOSAL Article 1: Add an I.R. (Injured Reserve) slot. Article 2: Add one (1) additional Bench (BE) slot. THE DOG PROPOSAL Article 1: Add only an I.R. (Injured Reserve) slot. Article 2: I am gay. THE KENICHI PROPOSAL Article 1: Add two (2) I.R. (Injured Reserve) slots. Article 2: I am slightly less gay. THE INDECENT PROPOSAL Article 1: No changes to roster slots in regard to IR or BE.

Azhais posted:Also, someone remind me of the keeper rules for the non-scrub league (or is it just "keep however many you want at -1 round"?) This year it's essentially however many you want at -1 round, but only players that you drafted. Suave Fedora posted:THE SUAVE PROPOSAL I like smaller benches because it forces you to make hard decisions and encourages player churn. And if we make the benches too big, I believe the keeper system will be too lenient. The people have spoken, and your benevolent dictator has heard. I'm going to add an IR slot to appease the masses. Still considering a 2nd IR slot but I'm leaning towards just one. I don't really buy the IDP argument because in practice you're more likely to use that extra IR slot on an offensive player. I see value in designating an IR slot for only IDP players, but I'm not sure it's worth the extra policing it would require on my end.

I'd like to point out that my suggestion was to only have IR slots. I'm ambivalent about actually having one, since short benches + no IR is a good way to encourage churn.

Zypher posted:This year it's essentially however many you want at -1 round, but only players that you drafted. I am a unique snowflake in that at one point I had at least 4 LBs rostered but I'll take an IR slot over nothing. My offense was pretty stout last season.

# ? Jun 4, 2014 17:46 |

Churn favors nobody, those with solid drafts still don't have to do as much roster changing anyway and more churning just means more everyone not in the top 1-2 slots gets screwed harder as more fighting for midseason bottom of the barrel high risk/med reward players at best, about the same percentage of which are still going to hit and the rest dud. e: I'd favor an extra bench slot + 1 IR slot, myself, but I'd be content with just an extra IR slot as well.
