For those of you that buy TVs from Amazon, do you also buy the protection? I bought an L42E50 and have a few weeks before I'm unable to purchase protection. Prior to that I bought a 50" Samsung from BestBuy with the protection and have never had to use it.

I'm having this problem with my TV that's no longer under warranty. Has anyone had a similar problem and knows if it'll be expensive to fix? The model is ln52a550p3fxza.

If comcast is anything like cablevision, you have to keep complaining before they split the whatever for more people since it's so expensive. Get your neighbors to call in too.
