I am planning on getting this TV, but I have never ordered a TV from the internet before. Can anyone make me feel better about shipping a TV to my doorstep? I would really rather go into a store and get this, but I can't find it anywhere but amazon. Also, anyone have experience with this TV at all? I have an older model LED LG and I love it.

I had some difficulty with the freight company shipping the television (Pilot). The local company handling delivery wasn't given the information for my scheduled appointment and missed it. I ended up driving to their warehouse to pick it up, which possibly could have ran afoul of Amazon's Enhanced Delivery policy (though I would have had a strong argument). Fortunately, the TV worked great. If you used scheduled delivery, call a day or two ahead to confirm your appointment.
