I remember that real 9 was supposedly p. good for a short while before avc. Also nero video. Man I gotta dig up my old encodes. Nandub DivX 3.11 sbc mixing up the two DivX codecs was p neat. I think I encoded Austin powers that way. I also used those 99 minute cdrs for extra quality. I

So since 600hz is divisible by 24, 25 and 30 wont an 600hz screen solve all framesrste issues? Sort of like a framerate final solution if you will

SECAM was used by the commies that should tell you enough. Also back in the day I used RGB scart for best video quality on my psx also because I was a pirate and ntsc games only gave colour on pal tv's when hooked up via rgb scart but hoo boy was rgb scart ever better than lovely compositie or even svideo.

Yah so this is why vinyl sounds better generally speaking because the format does not allow such hard mastering and the vinyl masters are produced with a different target audience in mind. Vinyl as a medium is inferior to CD. In practice Vinyl can be far superior to CD due to different masters. Ill sperg out about this some more tomorrow.

Well yeah mode2/xa has no error correction because it assumes it will be in the content like in the mpeg1 stream on vcd
