is there some cool way to gently caress around with encoding artifacts also mkv is ok mp4 is also ok what i dont get is the scene rule to put subtitles ON as default... thats hosed up

Yuck h264 is good but the way it can artifact can be really distracting, like when a face is taking up lots of screen space, and it moves, and the eyes and mouth move etc but the skin texture, freckles and whatnot, obviously don't register as a big enough change so they don't move, or at least lag behind or something.... It looks weird and creepy, Weegehhegegegegehe

so i guess its scrub as but im using handbrake what cool advanced features can i use to make my encode cooler... i dont care about encoding time but i want cool small files or something i want to experiment but nothing makes any sense like a 7 year old playing doctor with the teenagers next door - i am willing but naive

so yeah mkv etc is a container for codecs and h264 is a codec but can h264 exist without a 'tainer like does .h264 exist and is it just video? and does that poo poo need large headers or something? and what is stopping it being used like a gif? like are the headers etc so big that small 5 second 200x300 h264 "vids" like huge as gently caress or what and can someone make a plugin so we can play these in yospos? and how am i going to make these files?
