Those Sri Lankan averages are pretty good if they were batsmen Seriously, looking at those averages, could this be the worst bowling attack to ever assemble together on Australian shores?

They keep talking up Matthews as an allrounder. He's a decent bat, but 11 wickets in 30 matches at 70 barely qualifies as a part-timer. Pradeep's average is currently 366

Hyperriker posted:Worst by statistics? Probably not, someone could have a look at cricinfo to be sure. Ok I know I'm being hyperbolic, but most poo poo bowling attacks usually have someone half decent, like England had Gough, and Zimbabwe weren't all that bad back then, they had Heath Streak. All these Sri Lankan bowlers records are loving rubbish.

To give the benefit to Johnson, he just tried to defend it but Hussey was very keen for the single.

You Am I posted:I was reading the comments, there are actual people out there happy for him to be back. And some seem to be Australian Cricinfo douche posted:Ridiculous comments. You guys have such incredibly short memories. Haddin is still one of the classiest batsmen in the world, and a fine keeper. He IS the best keeper batsman in the world, better than Prior, Wade or Dhoni, in all forms of the game. Just look at his stats. Lolwut. Bold the whole thing. The guy has 3 ton's from 43 tests. He never seemed to have the ability to assess the situation correctly. And he's 35. He is a better keeper than Wade though, so having him as a specialist batsman is even more ridiculous.

Hussey is still playing until the end of the summer. While Sydney was his last test, he intended to play in the ODI's. Now he will play for WA instead.

Way more tension in that than any point of the game last night. I was just looking at the scorecard for this match. The opener Raphael was 27 not out from 60 balls, yet the number 6, Head, faced 74 balls and the number 8, Ludeman, faced 79. What the hell? Does Raphael hate the strike or something?
