 Singing along with Jeff Mangum live is like being in a contest with someone to see who can hold a note the longest and you always lose.

As good as the first Portland show was (I didn't have the cash to get tickets to both nights), I think my favorite moment was watching Jeff Mangum exit the venue with a Kashi cereal box clutched to his chest like it was the most important thing in his life.

It was a very odd sight to see.
