I loved this feud so much as a kid. It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the insanity of the terrifying madman. I wonder if Generico will miss the snowy mountains of Mexico when he's in WWE.

Karmine posted:I feel like I remember that but I don't remember the context. Miz and Truth had been fired but kept showing up and loving with the shows, including a PPV where they locked themselves into a cage and put a beating on the wrestlers in there, then placidly gave themselves up to the police so they were able to walk safely out of the arena while the entire roster were left standing fuming. On one of these instances (maybe even when they were first fired?), the roster got their hands on them and hauled them out of the arena at a livid Triple H's instruction, and that photo came out of the fracas. Now WHAT is the context of THIS image?

I've always kind of looked at that image as: HBK: A guy who accepted his time had passed, but had hoped his friend could accomplish what he couldn't. HHH: A guy who has just learned that his time has passed, and finally accepted that he wasn't the most resilient of his "generation" Undertaker: A monolith who continues to weather all tests of time and perseverance despite all logic and reason saying his time MUST have passed by now.

A northwestern Pennsylvania police officer who moonlights as a professional wrestler is losing his head in a case of poster vandalism. No, Titusville Officer Aaron Madden isn’t terribly upset — even though his head has been torn off a life-size poster of him posing as his rasslin’ alter ego, Luscious Rocky Reynolds. Madden posed for the picture as part of a local United Way campaign. His head has been torn off three times in the several weeks since it’s been posted on the side of a building in Titusville, about 80 miles north of Pittsburgh.
