Just learned about Unsounded yesterday -- wow, I've been missing out, this is amazing stuff -- and am now catching up on this thread and digesting the nearly 800 pages of comic I read yesterday. The HD pages Ashley posts to the Patreon are pretty amazing. They're 1000x1500 compared to the website versions at 600x900 and with the insane amount of detail, especially in all the chapter 10 mayhem, they help quite a bit sorting out what's going on. I would happily buy a digital version of Unsounded just so I could re-read it all in HD at some point. Hoping we get a bit of a breather after the current mayhem resolves -- a bit more lighthearted to balance the grimdark would not be unwelcome, though clearly this is not a story likely to be all that heavy on rainbows and sunshine...

Sette's flashbacks to those scenes with her Da are so disturbing when you pay attention to the X'd out panels and margins that imply that she's seriously rewriting things to make them happier and upbeat. I assume we'll eventually see him through somebody else's eyes and the extent of what a bastard he is will be pretty appalling. His letters to Stockyard seem likely to not paint a very nice picture either...

I didn't catch them initially, but somebody mentioned them (not sure if it was this thread or elsewhere) and now that I know they exist, they just leap out at me. And they paint a pretty dark picture beneath Sette's happy-go-lucky, heir to the king-of-thieves proving herself tale.

Well that was a helluva reveal. I suppose the implication is either that Sette's never had *any* control over Duane, or (more likely) her influence over him is an innate ability of Sette's...
