Tell your brother to get off his lazy rear end. If he is using the "I have to study" excuse, tell him to get a seasonal job over the summer. I studied for an engineering degree by day, washed dishes in a restaurant until 3am, and spent my summers working 80 hours/week in near 100% humidity in 90 degree weather at Cedar Point emptying garbage cans and sweeping up peoples cigarette butts.
