The goal of the offensive phase was to take and hold the so-called three-isthmus line, which you can see 2/3rds complete, quite far beyond the pre-1939 borders. There was quite a bit of nationalist project tied up in the war too. Is there any sort of modern integration movement for Karelia anymore?
