One of the best psychedelic albums out there are the two Duke of Stratosphere releases. Basically, in their mid-80s lull, XTC decided to make an EP that parodied and pay homage to the music they loved growing up, and throughout the six songs, they took on stuff like the Electric Prunes, Sid Barret era Pink Floyd, and of course the Beatles. Then they released an album after their breakthrough "Skylarking" that threw in a bit of Small Faces' "Ogden Gone Nut Flake" and the Hollies and the Beach Boys.
