Rebirth fixed the mac zeppelin bug when I last played. Unless they reverted it somehow, which would be pretty awful. It was a weird fix: you kind of fell through the zeppelin, and right before you hit the ground/water it'd teleport you back up on top of it, but I never got actually dropped off. Although if it did get reverted, the only one that I know to watch out for is the Ratchet/Booty Bay boat. The zeppelins are safe as long as you don't go AFK on the flight path, but the boat to Booty Bay drops you way further out.
