This is the first interesting Tomb Raider game since... well... This is the first interesting Tomb Raider game. Looks like a very nice mix of Arkham Asylum, Far Cry 3 and Uncharted. Still not sure how the gameplay works exactly (lack of videos is kinda worrying), but the Monastery Escape Walkthrough is very cool. I'm surprised that this reboot is so brutal, I'm pretty sure I just saw Lara die by a huge branch puncturing her chin and brain  .edit: Yup, that's it. That's some Dead Space poo poo right there. drat, I expected the reviews to be good/mediocre, but not THAT good. Can't wait to raid some tombs. ...are there actually tombs in this game? edit: the reviews came out really early - the game comes out next week but there's already a ton of reviews online. Played it for 2 hours. Really cool game with a shitload of collectables. There is a lot of optional things to find - artifacts, documents, journals, chests with salvage, chests with xp etc. It really is Uncharted + Arkham Asylum. Performance on PC is all over the place. Sometimes I get 60 fps, but when I position the camera in a specific direction it drops to 30. I think there are some performance problems with depth of field, not sure. edit: Play on Hard, Normal is way too easy.

Just finished it. 100%, 15 hours. Fantastic game, my favourite in 2013 so far. Great mix between Arkham Asylum, Uncharted and Resident Evil. I already can't wait for the inevitable sequel taking place on Roanoke Island. I hope that the sales are good, cause I want this series to continue.
