Wasn't there an encumberance rules change as well? Mechanically the rules difference from D&D is slight. Some of the system agnostic supplements are good. Quelong by Ken Hite and Dunsmouth which I referenced earlier. Most of the others feel like adventures that have less detail than an old Dungeon magazine submission.
