The more I read the thread, the more I think a P71 would make me a perfect daily beater. Did the column shifter only come on the police package? I prefer it to console auto shifters because...I'm a little weird.

Got it. drat I want one. It's built like a truck, I can sort of (ab)use it like a truck, and spill coffee in it and not give two shits. That huge trunk is perfect for hauling all sorts of crap.
