Haven't actually really touched my copy of SC5. The only good thing is that it does look nice and it somehow sits at 4 gigs, but the current fiasco isn't doing it any favours. Also SC4 is just packed to the brim with mods that there is currently no contest. I need to start up SC4 again. I spent waaaaay too much time with all the puzzle-piece sets that modders made. Those were way too much fun playing around with.

No, but I think at a certain point the fun is in crafting the city over really trying to squeeze what you can out of the simulation, so turn on the cheats for unlimited funds and start playing with the ploppables and puzzle pieces and terraforming to get the look and feel you want if traditionally zoning and waiting for something to happen doesn't work out.
