Thanks for making for a new thread. The fallout of Simcity (5?) got me interested in digging out my old Simcity 4 Deluxe set and rediscover this game

Hopefully it doesn't crash on me this time unlike in Win XP.

This may be a bit nitpicky but whenever I'm in overview mode, I get the regular blue grid background but when I select a piece of land , the background becomes pitch black. Is there something wrong the game (or the modpack) or the fact I'm using a ATI card?
