 Toriko is a weekly manga published in Shounen Jump by Shimabukuro Mitsutoshi, and now an Anime. It tells the story about the eponymous character, a Gourmet Hunter that strives to find the yummiest foods in the World and his friend Komatsu, a young and somewhat cowardly Chef that's slowly becoming a rising star. Komatsu  The Head Chef from the Gourmet Hotel that is partnered with Toriko. Despite having no combat capabilities, he has incredible cooking prowess and recently made it into the IGO's top 100. Pet: Yun the Wall Penguin Zebra  The biggest goddamn badass in the Manga, a feared Gourmet Hunter that singlehandedly extinguished many monster races. Hates "Cocky people". Is the Heavenly King associated with 'sound' and has many voice-related powers. 'Pet': Dharma Horse. Sunny  A fabulous Gourmet Hunter who strives to only eat beautiful food. His long hair is capable of many feats of strength and can be controlled at will. Is the Heavenly King associated with 'touch'. Just discovered the taste of 'Long Pig'. Pet: Quinn the Mother Snake. Coco  The reasonable/boring dude of the Four Heavenly Kings. He's a Gourmet Hunter who's immune to a manifold poisons, and crafts them inside his body in order to battle. He's the Heavenly King associated with 'vision', and uses his abilities in order to become a Future-Teller with a high rate of success. Pet: Kiss the Emperor Crow  The comic relief character. So what is cooler? An attack that scars your GENES THEMSELVES or the fact that Setsuno regenerated from that? Good on them to show the absurd powers of the NEO guys, want to see how the split 3-way war will work out. Also... Does anyone knows what the Taster Bishokukai woman has done? Her power is absorbing attacks, fermenting and returning them back, i guess?

Also Midora's bazillion spiky tongues are pretty great and in line with the Bishokukai having gross as gently caress powers.
