I sometimes wonder what would happen if some project fails because the needed investment was miscalculated, and they start another kickstarter to get the project finished. Would that be possible? And would people fund it? For example, imagine that game console that was kickstarted would go "we can't finish, need another 50k" with no rewards whatsoever, hoping that backers of the original kickstarter would throw in another 10$ rather than loosing all of their investment. It happens all the time with projects in the business world, it would be interesting to see what would happen in this case.
