Taranto's going out of town for a family get-together this week, so there won't be a new strip tomorrow. The biggest drawback to this is the possible loss of an E3 2013 review

519: Pokemon-Amie http://cdn.brawlinthefamily.keenspot.com/comics/2013-10-15-519-PokemonAmie.jpg For those that don't know, the new Pokemon games that came out this past week (x and Y, apparently moving past colors and gemstones) have a mode called "Pokemon-Amie". In it, you do things like pet your Pokemon, and feed them pastries, and it strengthens your bond with your Pokemon. A Pokemon with a strong bond is more likely to dodge attacks, land critical hits, survive attacks that would otherwise knock them out, and shrug off status effects like poison or sleep.
