Taranto's going out of town for a family get-together this week, so there won't be a new strip tomorrow. The biggest drawback to this is the possible loss of an E3 2013 review :(

I love it when Taranto breaks out of his normal drawing style, it usually becomes fantastic. Also, here's hoping that he will have a E3 wrap up this year as well, even if he didn't go to it!

We got an E3 review after all, even if it's short and feels a bit rushed. Also I'm upset Taranto made no mention of Bayonetta 2 or X :colbert:

I'm not even sure why, but that last panel just slew me.

Oh, and of course he would have to reference Captain N.

I can already tell Wii Fit Trainer will be a welcome addition to the cast of Brawl in the Family. Taranto seems to agree, and I can't wait to see what he does with her and the other Smash newcomers.

Wow, I can't believe BitF is up to almost 500 strips. I've been following it since somewhere before 200, that's crazy! When I think of favorite strips, this is the one that always comes to mind: http://brawlinthefamily.keenspot.com/2010/09/27/275-hyper-beam/

I was getting shivers when the music was starting, one of the best renditions of that starting theme I've ever heard.

519: Pokemon-Amie
http://cdn.brawlinthefamily.keenspot.com/comics/2013-10-15-519-PokemonAmie.jpg

For those that don't know, the new Pokemon games that came out this past week (x and Y, apparently moving past colors and gemstones) have a mode called "Pokemon-Amie". In it, you do things like pet your Pokemon, and feed them pastries, and it strengthens your bond with your Pokemon. A Pokemon with a strong bond is more likely to dodge attacks, land critical hits, survive attacks that would otherwise knock them out, and shrug off status effects like poison or sleep.

Or, the TL:DR version: You can finally do what the anime says its been about since the very beginning.

Sorta new art style? I can dig it.

Also, Kirby turning into a giant all-devouring abomination was pretty inevitable.
