Ryan Schreiber of Pitchfork wrote down some pretty extensive notes on the album on his Tumblr. This album sounds insane.

Just listened to it. It's not really blowing me away and it doesn't come close to Discovery, but I think it's a really solid comeback album. "Giorgio by Moroder" is amazing.

So after listening to this album about 10 times I've started putting a playlist together of artists similar to Daft. Can you guys recommend any songs/artists? I know some Justice (Dance, Genesis, civilization)and Kavinsky but I've got nothing beyond that. Im looking for songs that just get you hyped and make you feel fantastic ya know the way Alive 2007 does.

Have you tried "Part IV" by Fred Falke?

A new outtake from RAM just leaked, featuring Jay-Z on vocals and Kanye on production: http://www.fakeshoredrive.com/2014/03/daft-punk-jay-z-computerized-prod-kanye-west.html/

According to Pitchfork, it is a real track. No Kanye involvement, though.

Ugh, that bit with Win Butler going "WHAT THE gently caress IS THIS poo poo. SERIOUSLY. COME ON GUYS :smug:" gave me douche chills in real life.

Win just seems mad that Daft Punk's huge disco revival album was more successful (and frankly, better) than theirs.
