SpartanIV posted:I wore my Pebble for the first time today and am really liking it. The ability to control my phones music from my wrist in the car is better than I imagined. Also being able to glance down at my watch to see what email/txt I just got while in a meeting at work is great. I considered a lot of different straps after finding the stock one to be quite uncomfortable. I finally ended up getting a nylon NATO style one (http://www.amazon.com/22mm-James-Bond-Black-Ballistic/dp/B005BDZFBA/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1375901962&sr=8-12&keywords=22mm+watch+band). It's pretty comfortable and matches my black pebble quite well. I considered black metal ones and leather ones but neither one seemed to mesh very well with a shiny black plastic watch. Plus all the black metal ones either had bad reviews or were super expensive.

I liked a couple of the comments from The Verge article about it. Samsung claims it has 24hr+ battery life. Though most of the watches were completely dead by the end of the press event. The watch strap apparently felt LESS supple than the pebble one (Is that even possible??). http://www.theverge.com/2013/9/4/4692824/samsung-galaxy-gear-features-specs-release-date-price Plus it's $300 which just seems crazy to me given that it doesn't even work with all android phones but just a subset of samsung phones/tablets.
