I do like the look of the new model, but it's not enough to justify getting it until it actually does more. I like the pebble more than other smart-watches, but that's not saying much when the other ones are pretty poo poo.

 So now there is, finally, native support for Japanese and Korean on the Pebble. Sure, it's hacked together, but it actually works pretty well so far. The fonts look a bit strange, but seeing that I can now read nearly all notifications on the thing now makes it truly useful. If nothing else, it makes buying the Apple Watch less tempting for me, since that was one of the big drivers of me getting it. I mean, I probably still will anyway, but it's not as necessary  .You can get it here.

Finally got my Time. It works. Installed a unofficial Japanese language pack so I could get notifications I could read. Having an always on screen is still nicer than the Apple Watch and my GWatch. The animations are cute, but makes it feel a little slower than the original to me. Feels nicer than my original Pebble. Nothing else to really say about it I guess  .EDIT: Oh yeah, I can also say it's way more useful on Android than iOS. Drastic Actions fucked around with this message at 16:17 on Jun 19, 2015 |
