This does look pretty drat interesting and well worth the price. It's close to my ideal dream game. Probably also the only non-stale zombie concept that hasn't been fully explored, too.

"Apocalypse Management Simulator" is such a great idea I keep thinking it would be even better if you had more than bog-standard zombies in it.

The crazy idea part of my brain came up with: How about more mythological monsters popping up, and you learn that the apocalypse is being caused by a sorcerer trying to annihilate mankind, but you fight back and rebuild using a combination of realistic society management and teaching your survivors a little magic of their own? Featured box art: A young woman with a baseball bat glowing with magical power, fending off a circle of monsters.

Wow, you even get a eulogy when a character you control dies. I like that.

Does building an outpost just make a zone that's zombie-free? Because I see certain resource icons over the outposts. Materials for one, bullets and fuel for another. What gives?

So you have to build up Friendship points with the NPCs before they let you control them, huh? This could be tricky...

Hey, neat. If you have ordered a construction project, quit the game and come back an hour later it'll be done. Construction projects are real-time!

I discovered something else Outposts are good for. Upgrade one to set traps and it'll blow up zombie hordes that wander in there. You even get points for it.

I crouched in a bush while a horde stumbled past me, one coming within inches of my character.

Who knew zombie stealth could be so fun?

Hey, neat. I spoke to the Army guys as Maya and they recognized her. Nice.

So apparently the resources I've gathered will deplete once every real-world day. Why am I bleeding Materials? What happens when I run out?

EDIT 2: Just so this post isn't a complete waste.

The second post is now an FAQ and Tips N Tricks thing. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Post them, point them out to me, pm me, I don't care.

Here's a tip: You have a maximum limit on how much influence you can store every 24 hours. The limit goes up when your fame goes up (I've noticed the journal says fame goes up when I level a skill) but beyond that, you should spend what you've got. Spend it on outposts and scavenger runners. Better yet, make a point to escort the scavenger runners when they get where they are so you can get friendship points with them and earn the ability to control them. It all feeds into each other.

The in-game hint system said in the journal that cheering on your allies when they kill a zombie gives you more friendship points. Not sure about the "Agree" or "Disagree" buttons though.

Which of these has the most space for putting stuff in it?

Maybe it's just me, but I really wish they weren't working towards an MMO. I think the bottom is falling out of the market for MMOs and sometimes you just want to enjoy a good ol' single player game with no intrusive elements distracting you from across the internet.

Basic stuff?

- Cardio is king. If you have a survivor with low Cardio, you should probably take them out back, unless you have no other options. In the earlier zones level Cardio up as much as you can by running often.

So what you're saying is… It's Rule #1?
