I, Aix Athanatos, oath two order sergeants, one specialist sergeant, one teutonic knight and one magister knight from Infinity. Awwww, a BABY! I'm a first-time oather. I'll also be painting these according to an Iron Man theme. Should I mention that in bold now or wait till the oath is complete?

Oath CompleteAix Athanatos posted:I, Aix Athanatos, oath two order sergeants, one specialist sergeant, one teutonic knight and one magister knight from Infinity. Here's some better images for you wonderful folks: And a link to the entire album, which is only a little bit out of order: http://imgur.com/a/Vc4hF Backstory Capitalists and zealots are strange bedfellows, but the genesis of PanOceania made their union inevitable. As a result of this odd combination, cults began to appear holding the entrepreneurs of old up as heroes and ideals: Saints Rockefeller, Smith, and Friedman began to appear in private shrines across the O12. The church doesn't condone these unofficial sainthoods but does nothing to stamp them out; this practice has brought new wealth to the church through wealthy and superstitious executives hoping to gain favour in business dealings. One cult, however, is considered to be dangerous by the church and has been openly condemned. Their holy figure is mysterious and enigmatic; no primary sources still exist of his life, if they ever did. Scholars of this cult have found only secondary and tertiary sources which tell highly colourful and allegorical stories. They detail a scion of enterprise who dons metaphorical armour of ingenuity and wealth to do battle with forces of destruction and chaos to bring stability and prosperity to the people of the world. Enemies of capitalism are depicted as being blasted to smithereens and crushed beneath the might of this metaphorical armour of free enterprise. Adherents of the Cult of Saint Stark have even gone so far as to train themselves in martial arts; the wealthier members commissioning power armour in the image of that worn by St. Stark himself and equipping private armies of similar-minded true believers. Even in the face of open condemnation by the clergy the anonymous cultists do battle as Tony of Iron did against the forces who would bring chaos and instability to the Human Sphere and threaten prosperity. Themed List Three regular Iron Man suits, one Stealth Suit, one Iron Patriot. Detektuv's Jurnal Basecoats mostly done. Basecoats done, as well as washing and some highlights. Basecoats, wash, highlights, basing unfinished. This was the first time I'd ever tried priming white, which I found out was as every single missed spot stared at me like the Eye of goddamn Sauron. It's also the first time I tried any sort of blending (the blue square on the magister knight's back, which is only barely visible). Overall I'm happy with how they turned out, and I've picked up some skills in the process. Parts List Citadel: Foundation Ivanden Darksun Foundation Calthan Brown Foundation Mechrite Red Foundation Mordian Blue Colour Dwarf Bronze Colour Mithril Silver Washes Gryphonne Sepia Undercoat Black White PVA Glue Formula P3: Armour Wash Pig Iron Gale Force Nine: Hobby Glue In all, that's Aww, It's A Baby!, Themed Force, Backstory, Parts List, Double the Fun, Based Models, Name In Completed Oath. Oath Complete!Aix Athanatos posted:Gotta do this bonus style The Unicorn has its own picture because it was a gift for someone and I gave it before the other models were done. I've also put Battle Damage on the Templar Knight with a grinding disc, is that a valid method?
