Dave Meltzer answered my question about Sarge and Monster Trucks, yay. He thinks the deal came about due to Sarge's GI Joe stuff and that they probably did a tour. As to whether it was successful or not I got the answer I expected: "Well, they didn't do it again..."

Vince Russo gave the people Athena, and then he demanded she take off her top and mocked the size of her breasts. The he cornered he and threatened her. The Harris Bros came to escort him out but he convinced them to help him so they cut a shoot promo about the NWA and then they powerbombed Athena a couple times. It was one of the worst segments I've ever seen.

I watched that show a couple of days ago to see the Piper murder accusation promo, which is quite something in itself. The Athena promo is probably one of the most uncomfortable things I've seen. And then the show ends with THE FORMER PAUL BEARER gurning. The kind of quality you can expect from TNA. The Harris Twins and Road Dogg. Early SEX really did rival the Aces and Eights.
