I've gotten back into this after playing back in open beta- it's seen a lot of improvements since then (though some of the client orders are still super grindy, but oh well) Do the Japanese players on Block 2 mind having so many round-eyed barbarians in their game?  I keep having flashbacks of FFXI where many of them seemed allergic to even being in the general vicinity of english players (although I did meet more than enough that were friendly!  )All in all, just having fun playing a space elf warrior-mage (gently caress optimal builds!) I'd love for Beasts to make a return in PSO2, but I'm happy with my space elf. The invincibility blast for beasts was, IMHO, the only one worth taking. You could still die if you used the other ones- but with the blue one, you just had to run in and start wailing away until it wore off.

I think you can still select my name in the team list and choose Go To Room. Not only is there a nearly full set of instruments, but you can also relax to the soothing sounds of a dozen washing machines quietly rumbling. Oh, if anyone is wondering how some of those crazy detailed Symbol Arts are made, I found this little thing. I don't know how it works exactly, since I'm not at home- but the general gist seems to be it adds an overlay of an image you can trace the SA objects with. Figure this out and a whole slew of frog and dog emotes will flow forth!

Yeah, GameGuard is the worst. Although I discovered, at least with my G13 and G600 mouse, that they will work if I stick to the default profile. So I just configured the default to PSO2 I find the mouse + G13 is much easier to Ranger with than the 360 controller, so I actually enjoy playing my Ranger now

While servers are still down, I dug through my screenshots folder! Big Bird plus bonus pinkcast  A JP pubby I've seen a few times while doing AO lately. Finally found him in the lobby for a picture   The  PARTY TURTLE Those pubbies and I danced on that turtle for a good five minutes until the rest of the MPA found us. And an oldie: Free Partner Roulette jackpot!

Yeah, at first I was all "Wait, so I will lose boost time while preparing?" But when it was explained to me that it's only while the quest is active, it's not so bad- since I enter asap, it won't really effect me. Well, perhaps a couple of seconds on the first run when I'm getting everything ready.

Yeah, AIDA is a pro programmer whose programs run smoothly and never cau- ahaha sorry. I just manually patch the translation files and skip the tweaker entirely. Worst case scenario, if you botch it, is having to verify and re-download game files.

Blu isn't too bad. Just that stupid one shot dual cyclone attack it does. If you're caught off guard, kiss your rear end goodbye. Dark Ragnes- Because those stupid leg swipes, combined with the energy geysers, means I can get clipped at the worst times. Also because the legs have an annoying tendency to cancel lock-on if they move out of the screen for even a fraction of a second. And since Ragne is so big, that happens a lot  Focus Shunka on a leg would be so much easier if I could maintain a lock on.Dragonkin- So many Amduscia TACOs have instilled a burning hatred of these little fuckers. "I am help kill darker. Ooops I kill u  "Dagash- gently caress these guys. Especially when they're in packs. Suddenly, fish flying in from all corners of your peripheral to kill you.

Well, from what I've gathered, ilbarta stacks up to seven times. The first four casts increase at a small scale, then the fifth starts at 400%, then the seventh and last is at an 800% modifier, whereupon the count starts all over again. Of course, multiple people casting it speeds up this count, although it can be done solo. I guess this is how Sega fixes ice techs- by releasing a stupidly powerful tech

I've noticed in the past month that load times after exiting missions has become worse and worse. I wasn't sure if it was latency but upon entering the lobby the game just chugs for a few seconds. As if it's struggling to load everything.
